Our Farm
River Road Flower Farm is a specialty cut flower farm nestled in Templeton, CA. We grow on 1/4 acre where we specialize in growing Dahlias and have grown dahlias for 5 Years. We also grow many other beautiful flowers such as Ranunculus, Tulips, Zinnias, Celosia, and many more. Our growing zone is 8b which means we have quite a long growing season. Our season typically runs from March-October.
We offer both retail and wholesale flowers. You can find us at the SLO Flower Collective Market every Thursday at the Dallidet Adobe in San Luis Obispo from 10am-12pm
Our Story
My name is Keri, I am the dreamer and farmer here at River Road Flower Farm. My right-hand girl/helper/boss is my 4-year-old daughter, Emmy and before we know it, her little sister Ellie will be following us too!
In 2020, my husband and I finally found our little piece of land in God's country. We bought a house on 5 acres and were just excited to have room for our growing family. I was pregnant with Emmy at the time and working as a nurse at our local hospital. I was suffering from burn out during the dark days of the pandemic and terrified for how life would be for me as a new mom during such an isolating time. I knew I needed something to refuel my soul, but I wasn't quite sure what that was at the time.
Flowers, Community, and Gratitude
Growing flowers was the thing I never knew I needed. It feeds my soul in so many ways and truly brings me so much joy. The flower community is full of many amazing people, and I am very proud to be part of our growing local flower farming community. We strive to create meaningful experiences and love seeing the happiness that our flowers bring to our customers. I am grateful for all of the customer relationships that have blossomed from growing flowers. We appreciate everyone who comes out to support our family farm, and we are so grateful for you all!
